R350 Grant Beneficiaries Must Check In Every 3 Months

Payments of the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) are still currently being disbursed by the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa). However, the agency has had to clarify a few things relating to how often beneficiaries should keep tracking their R350 grant application.

As the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) continues processing payments of the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant for this month, there are certain instances throughout which some of the processes become unclear to some of its applicants.

This time, the issue is in relation to how often R350 grant recipients should keep track of their grant applications. Regarding this, Sassa has stated that beneficiaries are not required to submit applications every month.

Additionally, Sassa has also advised for R350 grant recipients to visit the Sassa website every three months to answer a few questions and determine whether they still meet the requirements for the grant.

Beneficiaries have also been urged not to apply for the grant if they do not meet the eligibility criteria.

There is no need for clients to apply each month. However please check the website after every 3 months to answer a few questions and check if you still need the grant. If you do not need the grant, please do not apply.

For beneficiaries whose R350 grant applications have been approved by Sassa, the dates listed below are the remaining grant payment collection dates for the rest of May 2024.
