The SASSA is a  Social Relief of Distress (SRD) Grant meant for Administrators in 5 SASA local offices.

Location:

Germiston Local Office (Ref: GP/SAS 05/02/2024)

Chiawelo/Soweto Local Office (Location: Maponya) (Ref: GP/SAS 01/02/2024)

Krugersdorp/Kagiso Local Office (Location: Krugersdorp) (Ref: GP/SAS 02/02/2024)

Soshanguve/Hammaskraal Local Office) (Ref: GP/SAS 03/02/2024)

X5 Grant Administrators (Level 5)

Salary:

R176 310 – R 207 681 p.a. inclusive of benefits

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates should hold Matric or NQF4 equivalent coupled with 0-2 years of working experience.

Computer literacy is essential and a valid driver’s license will serve as an added advantage.

The incumbent will be responsible for Providing Customer Care, Screening Grant Applications, and

Capturing of Grant Applications on the system, Conducting other grant documentation/performing other grants administration functions, conduct quality control on grants applications. Ensure adherence to Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA, Chapter 6, and Part 3.

Preference will be given to:

African Male / People with Disability and followed by Indian Female and African Female

respectively as at the time of appointment (Johannesburg Local Office).

African Male/ People with Disability and followed by White Female and Indian Male respectively as at the time of appointment (Germiston Local Office).

African Male / People with Disability and followed by African Female and Indian Female

respectively as at the time of appointment (Chiawelo/Soweto Local Office).

African Male / People with Disability and followed by Indian Female and White Male respectively as at the time of appointment (Krugersdorp/Kagiso Local Office)

African Male / People with Disability and followed by Indian Female and African Female

respectively as at the time of appointment (Soshanguve/Hammaskraal Local Office)

Important notes:

The appointment will be subject to a compulsory pre-employment screening in the form of qualification, references, ITC, and criminal checks.
