Here’s When ISFAP Applications For 2024 Will Close

The Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) is a funding option for prospective students looking to pursue tertiary studies in 2024. Applications are currently open and here is when they are due to close.

The Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) is a bursary programme that began as a pilot initiative to address the issue of missing-middle students who were unable to meet NSFAS financing requirements.

Applications for the Isfap bursary still have to be done entirely online on their website. The closing deadline for applications is 31 October 2024, so this gives applicants enough time to apply.

As an organisation that presently only provides funding support for first-time graduates, ISFAP’s major goal is to ensure that they get as many graduates through the tertiary education system as possible.

To take advantage of this student funding opportunity, ISFAP requires applicants to provide the documents listed below when submitting their online application:

  • A certified copy of your Identity Document (ID)
  • A certified copy of your latest Grade 12 results or Grade 11 final results
  • A signed and certified consent for that downloaded from the ISAFP online application website.

The ISFAP bursary scheme will cover the following expenses for students who qualify for the bursary and have had their student funding application approved:

  • Full tuition costs
  • Student accommodation up to an annual cap (In both private and university student residences)
  • Book allowances (through Van Schaik BookStore)
  • ISFAP also provides a laptop
  • Meal and cash allowance paid directly to the student (or cash and transport allowance depending were the student is based)
