Export Customer Service Representative Job Opportunity 2024

LSC Global logistics is seeking Export Customer Service Reps. at its Pine Brook, NJ Terminal. The Export Customer Service Rep. manages the transportation of outbound ocean and air shipments. Assembling the paperwork up to customer billing, ensuring service commitments are satisfied and both the customers and company objectives met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Communicates with overseas customers or agents to answer inquiries or provide updates.
*Assemble and completes all shipment related documents
*Confirms shipment-level profitability and escalates any low margin shipments to supervisor
*Creates commercial documentation required for export declaration and other regulatory agencies.
*Actions the resolution of any accounts payable issues within the area of responsibility.
*Prepares export ocean bill of lading and related documents or house airway bill pouch and labels
*Processes external billing based on quotations, established contract rates and standard tariffs.
*Responsible for the export compliance including Denied Party Screening and AES filing
*Arranges inland transportation from Supplies door to loading facility.
*Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Associate’s Degree from a two-year college or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of the educational requirement is preferred but not required.
· High School Diploma, GED, Bachelors (preferable)
· One to two years of previous experience in the freight forwarding industry preferred but not required – experience in detailed oriented industries like banking, insurance, or medical billing will be accepted.
Proficient in MS Office and Windows applications and working experience with CargoWise and WMS software a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
