Tshwane North TVET College Opens Trimester 2 Applications

One of the 50 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges in South Africa has opened Trimester applications for a period of two weeks. It is best to apply as soon as possible, as the TVET college won’t be allowing late applications.

The Tshwane North TVET College (TNC) has announced that it has opened its online applications for Trimester Two for engineering studies. According to the institution, applications opened on 11 July 2024 and will close on 22 July 2024.

The trimester programmes that fall under this category are civil, electrical and mechanical engineering. To qualify, students ought to meet the following minimum admission requirements N1-N3: Grade 10 or Higher with Mathematics and Science N1 for N2; N2 for N3.

Follow these steps to apply: 

  1. Start your application process by following this link – http://tnc.edu.za
  2. Carefully read on the academic application process.
  3. Scroll down, then click on the drop down menu to select whether you already have an existing student number or not.
  4. If you already have an existing student number, then proceed to register using this link, and log into the TVET colleges self help iEnabler student portal.
  5. If you don’t have an existing student number, then proceed to this link to complete your application using your ID number.

Applicants are required to upload required supporting documents – click on “browse”, “upload”, “save” and proceed with the application.

Emailed documents will not considered and should the applicant not submit the required documents, the application will be deemed unsuccessful.

According to TNC, applicants are allowed to apply for one programme per enrolment period e.g., Trimester/ Semester.

Should applicants need to enquire about funding their chosen qualification, it is best to approach the TVET college bursary offices and the National Student Financial Aid Scheme.
