• Maintain a contact list for the institute

2. JOB TITLE: Accounts Officer

REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer

JOB PURPOSE

• To ensure timely receipt of all payments due the institute as well as perform diversified accounts payable functions in line with Financial and other organizational policies.

Key Accountabilities

• Handle the preparation of all student bills and follow up to ensure timely settle
• Receive fees and other payments by cash, cheques and money transfers.
• Post daily receipts and maintain Accounts receivable documentation.
• Handle cash and deposits using proper accounting procedures and documentation.
• Monitor all receipts and payment vouchers.
• Ensure timely deposit of payments are made to the Bank.
• Process journal entries and online payments and transfers.
• Maintain cash and ledger books accurately.
• Update receivables by totalling unpaid fees.
• Initiate collections on post- due accounts.
• Maintain accurate payment procedures.
• Determine the propriety and accuracy of all expenditures.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.

Job Purpose

4. JOB TITLE: HR Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Institute

JOB PURPOSE:

• To provide coordination and leadership for the Administration, and Human Resources Management functions of the Institute.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and coordination in the preparation of the Administration budget and manage the budget within the approved limits.

• Advertise vacant positions and facilitate the recruitment of suitable candidates.

• Undertake salary surveys to ensure that the Institute’s compensation and benefits remain competitive.
• Coordinate the annual performance management process for staff and faculty.
• Facilitate the identification of administrative staff and faculty training needs in conjunction with Department heads.
• Plan and lead professional development activities for staff and faculty. .
• Ensure the health and safety of students, staff and faculty.
• Ensure that the appropriate grievance handling and disciplinary procedures are in place.

• Ensure that all frequently used items are well stocked throughout the year.
• Put in place systems and structures to minimize pilferage and loss at the stores.

Transport

• Maintain inventory of all vehicles of the Institute
• Monitor and review all logging activities on the Institute’s vehicles
• Ensure that all Company vehicles are in good shape and go for regular maintenance.

Qualification Required & Experience

• First Degree in Business Administration with HR, a Masters would be an added advantage.
• A minimum of Eight (8) years’ experience in a similar role with at least three years (3) in a management role.

Key Responsibilities

The librarian assistant shall assist the Librarian with the following roles:

• General management of the library and supervising library patrons.
• Assist with daily tasks of the library such as issuing library materials, checking out/in library materials, collecting late charges, and determining outstanding materials.
• Carry out classification and cataloguing of resources using the Library Management System.
• Assist learners to identify, locate and access the information they require
• Examine books for damage; repair or facilitate repairs when necessary.
• Perform appraisal and “weeding” of library materials at assigned periods
• Create an environment that is conducive for active and participatory learning using resource-based instructional practices.
• Oversee the management of the library in the absence of the Librarian
• Perform any other duties assigned from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor of Arts/Education in Information Studies/Librarianship with two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must have completed National Service
• Skills in IT will be an added advantage

• A minimum of a BA/ B.Sc. degree in Psychology or Social Work with 3-5 years’ experience in Teaching and Counselling or in Psychology Practice involving support to the youth.
